Henriques Yachts …Boat Building Excellence Since 1977.

Jack Henriques immigrated to the United States while in his 20’s, bringing with him the experience and tradition of four generations of Portuguese boat building. After founding Henriques Yachts in 1977, their first model was the Maine Coaster, a 35’ Downeast style boat which quickly gained popularity among commercial and sport fishermen. The well-known Maine Coaster continued in production until 1999. In 1980, the operation moved to their present location in Bayville, NJ. During the 80’s they introduced the 44’ Sportfisherman, another favorite of charter captains, as well as recreational fishermen. The last 44’ was built in 2004. Then 38’ Sportfisherman followed and by the end of that decade the 38’ El Bravo, an open dayboat with a custom aluminum tower, became available.

Their flagship 50’ Sportfisherman was launched in 1991. The 1990’s saw the debut of the 28’ Express Sportfisherman, offering a high quality, diesel, canyon capable fishing boat. This boat combines affordability with excellent offshore capability. In 1999, the popular 35’ Express was an instant success and filled the niche between the 28’ and 38’.

Integrity Marine joined forces with Henriques Yachts in the mid-90’s to handle their sales and marketing, and allow the crew at Bayville to do what they do best – Build Boats!

Although Jack still has a lot of input, he has been exploring other interests. The facility is now operated by his two daughters, Maria and Natalia, and son-in-law, Manny Costa. Commitment to detail on each boat continues on with each generation.

The 35’ Flybridge Sportfisherman successfully debuted at the Atlantic City International Power Boat Show in February 2002. The newest, most innovative models to date are the 42’ Sportfisherman and the 42’ Express. The 42’ FlyBridge was unveiled at the Atlantic City Indoor Power Boat Show in February ‘05 with resounding success! The 42’ Express made her debut in Miami in 2006 and was equally well received, thanks to both our new and repeat customers. She really is SPECTACULAR FOR HER CLASS!
